Tim Duckworth OG 6'3 306 Auburn 5.42

By: Robert Davis

Tim Duckworth spent his first two seasons in the defensive tackle rotation. He moved to the offensive line as a junior, and earned all SEC 2nd team honors in his first season on the OL.

Duckworth has taken very well to the offensive line and already shows flashes of dominance. He can lock on to a defender and completely take him out of the running game. He has the power and will finish the block to open running lanes for his back. He combines his good size and power with decent athleticism. He can get out and block on the move, laying players out in the process.

While he is a decent athlete for a guard, Duckworth does not always play show it. He will stand too tall out of his stance and when trying to pull, limiting his ability to adjust and pick up the defender. He probably should not be asked to get out and pick up a defender very often.

Duckworth projects to right guard in the NFL, and could become a solid player at the next level. The ability he has shown in just two seasons on the offensive line is encouraging, because he will only get better with more experience and coaching.
