For the 2017 season who would it be?

I'd say Peak Andre Tippet for the Patriots

Reggie White.

Wouldn't mind Charles Woodson, either.

We are strong everywhere with question mark on the O-line, so for need and best player in team history, give me Anthony Munoz.

It's almost always Rod Woodson. Maybe a prime James Harrison.

Does it have to be a guy that was in his prime on your team? Like I'd take Jerry Rice if I could get prime Rice, but he wasn't in his prime while playing for the Raiders.

Or can I get prime, motivated (since we're a good team now) Randy Moss? WR isn't really a need, but both of those guys would just make this offense ridiculous to try and stop.

Maybe even Bo Jackson, him and Lynch as a 1-2 punch? Good luck.

We really need help on defense the most, but I'm not even sure how much a guy like Howie long would help. All time great, and him and Khalil wpuld be impossible to stop. But we'd still have huge problems at LB and DB that I don't know how much it would help overall. So my thinking was make the already strong unit all time great good.

I'm going to assume you get the level of play you got when they were on your team so I won't take Rice. Moss is a bit more questionable because he was in his prime, but it was effort more than anything.

I'll go ahead and decide to go defense but I'll take prime Woodson. We don't have a true number one CB. We have Amerson and Smith who.are inconsistent. We drafted Conley but relying on a rookie isn't ideal on a team that's capable of contending for a super bowl. Best case Conley comes in day one and is ready to ball, allowing him to be the two, Woodson the number one that can play all over the back end of the defense and makes plays in all areas of the game. Can take the top WR, can play nickel, can even play safety if need be. I think he'd have a bigger impact in improving our defense than Howie who's the other logical choice on defense for us. Still tempted to take Moss, Bo, or my all time favorite Tim Brown, but while those guys could make the offense all time great the defense could still easily let us down.

We need defense. So I'll take prime Charles Woodson around 2001.

Would take Willie Brown but not sure how well he would translate to today's game.

John Elway for sure. Manning more often than not came up small in the biggest moments.

Give him Elway's '98 team and he won't. Probably the 4th or 5th best team ever.

Can I get a prime Moss or AJ? Laughing

If not, I'd probably go with Keith Bulluck. He was the leader for years and was one of the best LBs in the league during his time. We need LBs that can cover and Bulluck was elite at that. I think he'd bring the defense to a top 15 level. TEs sure as hell wouldn't be destroying us over and over.

I was trying to figure out which defender I wanted and couldn't decide. So I'll go with OT Paul Gruber. That would allow us to kick Donovan Smith to RT or guard, and save Jameis from certain death.
